Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, then the Almighty Lord will say: See if My servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is insufficient in his obligatory prayers. The rest of his deeds will be judged the same way.”

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Angels come to you in succession by night and day and all of them get together at the time of the Fajr and `Asr prayers. Those who have passed the night with you (or stayed with you) ascend (to the Heaven) and Allah asks them, though He knows everything about you, well, "In what state did you leave my slaves?" The angels reply: "When we left them they were praying and when we reached them, they were praying."

أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ هِلاَلٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حِمْيَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلاَّمٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ رَجُلاً غَزَا يَلْتَمِسُ الأَجْرَ وَالذِّكْرَ مَا لَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ شَىْءَ لَهُ " . فَأَعَادَهَا ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ يَقُولُ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ شَىْءَ لَهُ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَقْبَلُ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ إِلاَّ مَا كَانَ لَهُ خَالِصًا وَابْتُغِيَ بِهِ وَجْهُهُ " .
It was narrated that Abu 'Umamah Al-Bahili said:
"A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'What do you think of a man who fights seeking reward and fame - what will he have?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'He will not have anything.' He repeated it three times, and the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: 'He will not have anything.' Then he said: 'Allah does not accept any deed, except that which is purely for Him, and seeking His Face.'"

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرُنَا فَهُوَ رَدٌّ
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever performs a deed that is not in accordance with our matter, it will be rejected.”

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord... [Are its inhabitants] like those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?

Indeed, the number of months with Allāh is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allāh [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion [i.e., way], so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allāh is with the righteous [who fear Him].
Name three conditions of La Ilaha IllAllah. (100 points each)
Knowledge, Certainty, Acceptance, Submission, Truthfulness, Sincerity, Love
1. Knowledge (ʿIlm)
“So know that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah…”
(Surah Muhammad 47:19)
2. Certainty (Yaqīn)
“Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and afterward doubt not…”
(Surah Al-Ḥujurāt 49:15)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah. A servant meets Allah with these two without doubting them and he will enter Paradise.”
(Sahih Muslim 27)
3. Acceptance (Qabūl)
Accepting its implications and obligations, not rejecting or opposing it.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When I invited him (Abu Talib) to say it so that I could intercede for him, he refused.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 3884, about Abu Talib rejecting it despite knowing its truth)
4. Submission (Inqiyād)
“And turn to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you…”
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:54)
5. Truthfulness (Ṣidq)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“No one bears witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, truthfully from his heart, but that Allah makes the Fire unlawful for him.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 128, Sahih Muslim 32)
6. Sincerity (Ikhlāṣ)
“And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion…”
(Surah Al-Bayyinah 98:5)
7. Love (Maḥabbah)
Loving Allah, His religion, and the meaning of the Shahādah.
📖 Allah says:
“But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah…”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:165)
🌟 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever has three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else…”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 16, Sahih Muslim 43)
🌟 The Prophet ﷺ said:
“None of you truly believes until his desires follow what I have brought.”
(Reported in Al-Nawawi’s 40 Hadith, though its chain has weakness, its meaning is supported by Quran 4:65)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Seven people Allah will give them His Shade on the Day when there would be no shade but the Shade of His Throne (i.e., on the Day of Resurrection): And they are: a just ruler; a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah; a person whose heart is attached to the mosques, two men who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the sake of Allah; a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer and) says: 'I fear Allah'; a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the left hand does not know what the right has given; and a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes become tearful". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
