Catholics vs. Convicts

Notre Dame vs. Miami

200

This stadium is known for its iconic hedges that line the field. Beware of bulldogs that might be hiding inside!

Sandford Stadium (UGA)

200

Standing as 6 feet in length, this trophy first appeared in 1948 and is awarded to the winner of college football’s most played rivalry game. Sadly, Babe the Blue Ox isn’t part of the package.

Paul Bunyan’s Axe

“THERE GOES DAVIS”

Alabama vs. Auburn

200

He’s the most recent Heisman Trophy winner, dazzling voters (and fans) with his play on both sides of the ball.

Travis Hunter

Bedlam

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State

400

Since 1964, this stadium paints its end zones in a checkerboard pattern, first requested by the “General” that was their head coach. Weird that they named the stadium after a general when it’s on a river…

Neyland Stadium

400

This trophy was originally bronze, but received a makeover in the 1970’s. We don’t think wearing it, however, will get you a discount at the fair nearby.

The Golden Hat

“Woah there’s trouble with the snap!”

Michigan State vs Michigan

400

Perhaps surprisingly, it wasn’t until 2009 when Alabama had its first player receive a Heisman, this running back that narrowly edged out Toby Gerhart by a mere 28 votes.

Mark Ingram II

Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech

600

Mexican Free-Tail Bats have multiple colonies in this stadium renovated in 2012. We’re surprised the “Midnight Yell” hasn’t run them off.

Kyle Field - TAMU

600

It’s something you can find at Walmart, but this trophy’s storied history dates back to 1946 between two Texas schools. They don’t mention if it is seasoned or not…

The Iron Skillet (SMU vs. TCU)

600

“The band is out on the field!”

Stanford vs. Cal

600

During his senior year, this QB threw for over 5,600 yards on his way to a Heisman Trophy, National Championship MVP, the single-season touchdown record, and 1st overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Joe Burrow

800

The Holy War

BYU vs. Utah

800

You have a cemetery on your stadium grounds? Yes! While this stadium was built in 1929, the cemetery in its shadow was founded in the mid 1830’s. Fitting, given they’ve rolled over almost every opponent they meet.

Bryant - Denny Stadium

800

It started as a meme between one school’s mascot playfully feuding with a parody account of a coach back in 2014. Today, the rivalry has both fanbases raising money toward pediatric cancer charities, much more than the money that is attached to the trophy.

The $5 Bits of Broken Chair (Nebraska vs. Minnesota)

800

“4th and 5. National Championship on the line.”

Texas vs. USC

800

His Heisman is the first of three awarded to athletes from this school over a four year span, a dominance that has never been seen before or since. His professional career was a mixed bag, but his number, #3, is currently retired at his alma mater.

Carson Palmer

The War on I-4

UCF vs USF

1000

This stadium was constructed in 1913, but just a few decades earlier, it was used as a prison for Confederate soldiers. On the 53 acres of land, it’s also home to the northernmost Confederate cemetery, but sadly not a creamery to make cheese.

Camp Randall - Wisconsin

1000

These two cities have a rivalry that spills over from the smoke pits and onto the field, so it’s only fitting that this trophy reflects that. Cast in over 100 pounds of bronze, it was introduced in 2006, but we’re sad to report that it isn’t as tasty as it’s namesake.

The Bones (UAB vs. Memphis)

1000
“CRABTREE PULLS FREE”

Texas vs. Texas Tech

1000

He’s the only two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy, winning back to back in 1974 and 1975. Other notable accolade? Being the only person to ever start 4 Rose Bowls.
