A circuit is like this shape with a beginning and end
What is a circle?
The part of an atom that makes electricity.
What is an electron?
This removes the end of the insulation around wire.
What are wire strippers?
These circular items often "push" on the teeth of others similar items, making them turn.
What are gears?
Like the term originated from a Czech play, this is also often in plays.
What is a puppet?
A circuit that has one path (and usually one device) from the power source
What is a series circuit?
These are in all atoms but are not the parts that make electricity
What is a proton and/or neutron?
This is useful for cutting both metal and wood.
What is a hack saw?
Like gears, these connect one part to another, usually a turning part to another part that one wants to turn. They are usually made out of some form of rubber.
What is a band?
A common type of animation now uses directions to move things, unlike stop motion though there are more common names.
What is a program, code or a script?
A circuit that has two or more paths (or devices) from one power source.
What is a parallel circuit?
Because different elements have different amounts of these, arranged in this shape, electricity results
What are electron rings?
Usually spoken about in physics, both of these devices lower something when something else is raised, as is also common in robotics (and is inside a switch, but not a button)
What is a pulley and lever?
As seen in Scratch, every set of directions must include something to start the program.
What is an event?
These are the names for the power source usually associated with higher voltages as well as the name for the power source usually associated with lower voltages as well, although, it really explains the way the current moves
What are AC and DC?
This element has only 6 electrons and is therefor used in many resistors because it does not conduct electricity (like Iron which has 26 electrons).
What is carbon?
It can be hard to cut this even though it's layers of paper separated by little wholes...
What is cardboard?
This is a type of motion that results from a mechanical process based on the length of a "ribbon"
What is wind-up motion?
This may be used to convey attention to the audience and can be obtained with a "paint" bucket, either IRL or in many drawing programs.
What is red?
This is the means of calculating the size of a resistor: a formula that means voltage over current
What is Ohm's Law?
This element has only one electron and is rarely used in electronics because it has nothing to share and is often in a gaseous state.
What is hydrogen?
This can be used with a saw or hot glue gun or even a soldering iron to help keep things still when working.
What is a vice grip?
There are several types of forces and these are three examples.
What is pneumatic, hydraulic, magnetic, electric, frictional and gravitational?
As a combination of routes for electricity and illusions of movements, this describes something often -- but not always -- used in movies.
What are animatronics?
