They will be checked periodically and she is looking for accuracy which means the directions for that writing prompt were followed.

What should you do when you come into class every morning?
Find my seat, get out my materials for the day, answer the writing prompt, read my independent reading book until the timer goes off. Everything should be done silently.
If Mrs. Z asked you to change your behavior 3 times and you are still not changing, what will she ask you to do?
Leave for the rest of the period possibly multiple days depending on the behavior
What is the late work policy? Include what is and is not accepted for late work.
Late work is eligible for full credit throughout the unit. Once the unit is over, late work from that unit will not be accepted. Any essays, projects, embedded assessments are not able to be turned in late.
If you are using the class library, what are the rules for it?
Be gentle with the books, put books back where you found them, match the stickers on the book to the right section, use the guide if you are looking for a certain genre, do not throw books, tell Mrs. Z what book you are checking out before just taking it.
