You can have lunch, but you can’t cook it here. You don’t usually have this room in a small apartment

It’s big and soft, you usually put it on the floor in the living room (Soviet people put it on the walls)
Carpet
It’s usually in the kitchen. You put your food and dishes on it when you cook
Counter
It’s a big part of your house, but you don’t usually have it in an apartment. You can go to different parts of your house using it
