The Yellow is primarily for girls, while the Green, Red, and Blue are basically for boys.

Students like to be involved in these outside of instructional hours.
What are extracurricular activities?
At this time, some teachers go to the C & I room to plan future lessons.
What are prep periods?
There are some in Room 150 for the Ground floor teachers and some in Room 229 for all other teachers.
What are staff mailboxes?
Once a day, when students can be seen eating, at play or possibly getting extra help.
What is recess/break?
It is something staff should wear around their neck every day.
What is an ID lanyard?
Every student should be carrying one when they have permission to leave the classroom.
These are picked up during the first week of school from the two libraries.
What are student textbooks?
Teachers enter it on Rediker at the beginning of the day, and the beginning of each class for high school.
What is student attendance?
A time when students who are struggling receive support.
What is W.I.N/FLEX Blocks?
Shorts, jeans, tank tops and flip flops.
What are dress code violations?
HUBS stresses the importance of communicating with these people regularly and early to inform them of both positive and negative issues.
Who are parents?
For safety reasons, staff are assigned several times a week to an area in the morning and at recess.
What is supervision duty?
These happen daily beginning at 7 a.m.
What are opening exercises (Quran reading, Qatar National Anthem, Announcements)?
Leave your area quietly, teachers bring the attendance folder and forms and assembly at the planned area outside the building.
What is the fire evacuation procedure?
To get paid for the day, staff need to use this when arriving and departing.
What is the face recognition machine?
For certain emergencies teachers are required to have these planned for three days of absence.
What are Emergency Plans?
Grade level teams have agreed on these to help run classes more smoothly.
What are common classroom expectations?
Some weeks the day might start with ‘A’, then the next week will start with ‘B’, the following week starts with ‘C’ and so on…
