Being Right with God through Faith in Christ
Paul was not the only person to preach in Corinth, so did others like Apollos and Peter. What problem were they having with multiple preachers and what did Paul tell them?
They were picking their favorite preacher and wanting to follow them. It was causing divisions. Paul said we are to follow Christ not a man.

Paul says not to follow the laws of the OT anymore, they were only for God's special people the Jews. The NT tells us that Jesus died for EVERYONE. The Gospel is for everyone not just a chosen group of people.

What is a mediator?
Tell me how Jesus is our mediator?
A mediator is someone who stands between 2 people or groups of people who are in a disagreement and helps them to come to an agreement.
NOT a judge
We need a mediator between us and God. We have one in Jesus. A HOLY GOD cannot not be in the presence of sinful people and sinful people can never be pure enough to be in the presence of God, so Jesus stands between man and God.
Chapter 11 in the book of Hebrews is called the Hall of Faith. It talks about several people who had tremendous faith in God.
God wants us to be faithful like the people mentioned in Hebrews chapter 11, he says we have to hold on to our faith to the very end, he compares the journey to what?
