Locke/ the idea that everyone is born with rights that you cant take away, life liberty and property.

Direct is when people vote directly on the rules and laws rather than voting for a person to represent them.

Many of them have to continue to go to work because they are deemed essential workers. Despite this they have little no promise of receiving paychecks.

Locke thought it was the citizens responsibility to overthrow a government that wasn't doing its job. Hobbes thought the people should do what the government says and not complain.

A tax cut is when a person or business legally starts to pay a lower percentage of taxes.
This can happen because the government is trying to encourage spending and they think tax cuts will help large/small companies or the average person have more money to spend.
