The opposite of mindfulness.

Anger, from Inside Out, can represent this kind of mind.
What is emotion mind?
Being curious is the opposite of this.
What is judgemental?
Observing does not require this while describing does require it.

"I should have done better" is an example of this

Acting rationally and logically means you are in this kind of mind.

An example of this was driving and thinking about the errands I had to run after school which made me miss my exit.

Doing the chicken/banana dance, singing "take me out to the ball game," and throwing yourself completely in the present experience are all ways we have done this.

"Dodgers won the World Series again this year!" is an example of what.
What is a fact?
In order to do this you need to do what works, know your long term goals, and stay focused on the goal at hand.

This is unhelpful, does not make use feel better, and often increases the amount of pain we experience.

Noticing your body tensing up and having the urge to yell is this kind of observing.
What is internal?
"I'm really enjoying my math class this year, but I still find it hard" is an example of this.
What is being non-judgemental?
Mindfulness is important to know this because it is central to this.
What are DBT skills
Waves coming and going, clouds moving across the sky, and a gently flowing river are ways to visual these when you are in wise mind.
What are thoughts?
If you need to be right, are in emotion mind, or thinking things should or should not be a certain way you are not being this.

Noticing someone looking at you in the hallway is this kind of observing.
What is external?
Noticing your judgements and restating them in a factual way are the steps to being this.
