Gold (Melchor’s gift) Gold is a precious metal, very valuable. It shows that the baby Jesus is a king. It symbolizes royalty and wealth.

Frankincense (Gaspar’s gift) 🌿 It’s a sweet-smelling gum that comes from a tree. 🔥 People burn it to make perfume or incense in temples and churches. It shows honour and respect, as if saying, “This baby is holy.”

Myrrh (Balthazar’s gift) 🌱 It’s also a resin from a special tree, but smells strong and spicy.Long ago, people used it as medicine and to prepare someone important who had died. It shows that the baby would be important but also face difficult things.
