Sea Creatures
This grey animal is very big, sings songs and has water that comes out on it's head.
Whale.
Fish use these to breathe underwater. They are like small lines on the side of their head.

This is the yellow or white ground at the beach. You can build castles with it.

This fish has a head that looks like a horse. It is very small and likes to hold on to plants with its tail.
Octopus.
A shark has a big one on its back that you can see above the water. A dolphin has one too.
Fin.
This is the biggest, saltiest water in the world, where all these animals live.
This animal has a hard shell and likes to walk sideways and has two big claws.
Crab.

This is a beautiful, hard structure under the sea. It is made by tiny animals and is full of colour. Many fish live here.
Coral reef.
This big, fast swimmer has many sharp teeth. People are sometimes afraid of it. What is this animal?
Shark.
A lobster and a crab have two of these. They are strong and used for pinching and catching food.
Claws.
These are dark holes in rocks or under the sea. Animals sometimes sleep or hide here.
Caves.
This friendly smart animal, loves to jump out of the water play. It makes clicking sounds and also has a hole on its head where water comes out. It also uses this hole to breathe. What is this animal?
Dolphin.
A whale moves this up and down to swim. A fish uses it to move left and right. It is at the back end of the animal.
A tail.
This is a hard covering that protects some animals like turtles or snails.
