To protect yourself from sunburn...? (100 points for each of the 5 steps mentioned)
1. Apply sunscreen 15 to 20 minutes before going outside.
2. Wear sunscreen with an SPF rating of 30 or higher.
3. Reapply sunscreen cap or other fun hats to block your face from the sun.
4. Take frequent breaks from the sun by going indoors or moving into the shade.
What should you do if someone is bleeding because of a scratch, scrape, or cut?
Tell an adult immediately
What is a Sprain?

Tell an adult right away, Have an adult help take out the stinger if it is still in your skin, Wash the area with soap and water, Apply ice to the area for 10-15 minutes, Monitor for symptoms of Allergic Reaction for up to two hours after

If the student seriously injured the head, neck, back, hipbones, or thighs, is unconscious, or is have difficulty breathing

How do rashes develop?
Rashes can be caused by viruses, bacteria, medications, heat, allergies, and many other things.
How long should you pinch nose until nose bleeding stops?
15 minutes
What are the 4 steps you should take when a student has broken bones?
Try not to move the part of the body that may be broken, STAY CALM, tell an adult, if there is no adult nearby call 911
All UVC shirts must be returned by?
July 18th if you plan on going to Six Flags, OR by August 14th in order to receive the deposit back.

What happens when our body can't cool itself fast enough? Symptoms? (name at least)
Skin will be moist or clammy. Feeling overheated, tired, and weak. Headache, dizzy, nauseous.
Nosebleed can be caused by...?
1. Title head forward (over garbage/sink if possible)
2. Pinch nose until bleed stops.
3. Clean up, wear gloves.
What does RICE stand for?
Rest. Ice. Compression. Elevation
How can you keep a professional relationship with program participants?
Don’t take photos of students on personal phone. (P.s. you shouldn’t have your cell phone out anyways) / No tome fotografías de los estudiantes con teléfonos personales. (P.D., de todos modos no deberías sacar tu teléfono celular)
