John and Paul are heading to Emmanuel's birthday dinner. They live together and share an Uber to get there. Paul pays for the ride.

When they arrive, John realises he forgot to wear socks. Paul has a spare pair and lends them to John.

The driver drops them off but there is no obvious entrance. John decides to call Emmanuel. It goes to voicemail. He calls again. Voicemail again. John calls three more times, and Emmanuel finally picks up on the fifth call and tells them where to go.

At the venue, they find a round table with two empty seats. One beside Emmanuel (the celebrant), one beside Judas. John doesn't hesitate and plants himself next to Emmanuel.

After a big night of dancing, Paul pays for the Uber home. John's borrowed socks are ruined from all the dancing, so he throws them out when he gets home.

Based on this story and Sunday school manual lesson, what social etiquette rules were broken and by whom?

John broke four social etiquette rules.

1. He took an Uber twice with Paul, and didn't cover any of the fares.

2. He borrowed a pair of socks from John, destroyed it and didn't offer any replacement

3. John also called Emmanuel (the celebrant) more than twice continuously on the phone

4. He didn't wait to be seated and took the front seat next to the celebrant
