What is 1 Corinthians?
J is at home and his parents ask him to clean his room. J understands that cleaning his room means folding his clothes and placing them neatly in the appropriate place. He also understands that he must put his shoes away neatly and make sure that all trash is picked up and placed in the trash can. Unfortunately, J did not feel like cleaning as his parents instructed. So he doesn't fold his clothes. Instead, he throws them into a pile in his closet and shuts the door. He places all of the trash, games, and snacks under his bed. When his mother comes in, the room appears to be clean but J knows that he's not cleaned it at all. He's a bit nervous and is extremely worried about getting caught.

Miss Apple is a student at TP Schools. Earlier in the year, she would often talk with her friends in several classes, even when the teacher would ask for students to quietly work. Recently, Miss Apple has experienced a change of heart and a change of mind. She notices that before she enters class, she finds herself thinking about not joining in with her friends discussions because she wants to represent God well. Miss Apple does not want God to be displeased. While in class, one of her friends whispers to her during silent time and she responds. Immediately, Miss Apple realizes that she made a mistake and is extremely sad because she always wants God to be pleased. She immediately begins to pray at her seat, asking God for forgiveness and making her mind up to not repeat that mistake ever again.
