Deuteronomy

God's command that believers give without this negative attitude.

God told His people to open this wide to those in need.

Jesus listed two physical conditions where people needed care besides hunger and thirst.
What are sickness and imprisonment?
A society where people help one another reflects this quality of God.
What is compassion or mercy?
If Israel obeyed God, they would lend to many nations but not do this.
What is borrow?
According to Jesus, failing to serve the least of these was the same as failing to serve this person.
Who is Christ (Jesus)?
This is not always proof of divine favor.
What is prosperity?
God warned the Israelites not to refuse to help someone because because this year was approaching.
What is the year of release (canceling debt)?
This group Jesus referred to as "the least of these."
Who are people in need?
This scripture in the Bible records Jesus saying, "Blessed are you who are poor."
