• The Tragic Accidents: Theodore Peterson and his family live in the quiet town of Raven Brooks. Their perfect life shatters when Theodore’s wife, Diane, dies in a tragic car accident. Overwhelmed by grief, the children—Aaron and Mya—play games to cope. During one of these games, a fight breaks out on the roof, and Aaron accidentally pushes Mya off the edge to her death.
• The Cover-up: Desperate not to lose his last remaining child, Theodore secretly buries Mya in the backyard and locks Aaron in the basement for his own protection. He spins a fabricated story for the townsfolk, claiming his children went missing.
