What is the difference between nubuck and suede? Are they both top grain leathers? Explain how it's made.
A hide is split in half, the top layer is nubuck and the bottom layer is suede. Therefore nubuck shows more natural characteristics of the leather which is less visible than suede. Nubuck is a top grain layer since it's made from the top layer of the hide and suede is a bottom grain leather.
