• MLS's first fully electric stadium: Etihad Park is designed to be Major League Soccer's first fully electric stadium, eliminating the use of fossil fuels for normal operations and setting a new benchmark for sustainable sports venues.
• Renewable energy & water conservation: The stadium will feature rooftop solar photovoltaic panels and a rainwater harvesting/reuse system that captures water for pitch irrigation, helping reduce both energy consumption and water use.
