A respondent calls to tell you that they still have not received their cash in the mail. The interview was completed on 7/2/26 and it's now 7/14/26. What course of action do you take?
Let R know we are committed to making sure they receive their incentive. Double check the address and let the R know it could be a few more days since it can take UP TO 15 BUSINESS days. (With 4th of July some payments may be taking a bit longer). Ask R if you can call them back on 07/24 to see if they got the cash. If they did not, what is your next course of action?
You are interviewing a respondent and after about 15 minutes, the respondent's spouse comes home and starts answering the questions for R. What should you do?
Politely/professionally let the spouse know we appreciate their engagement but all answers must come from R. (What should you do if someone seems unable to answer for themselves?)
