what do herbivores eat.

Herbivores they get their nutrition from only plants.

100

What is a food chain?

A food chain is a model that shows how energy and nutrients flow from one organism to another in an ecosystem.

100

what's evaporation?

Evaporation is the process in which a substance changes state from a liquid to a gas.

100

What are some parts of an environment?

biotic elements, organisms, population, community, etc.

100

Is sunlight a big part of all living things?

yes, most living things need sunlight to grow, or they need it for their food to grow.

200

what do carnivores eat?

carnivores get their nutrition from only other animals.

200

What is a food web?

A food web is a model that shows the connections between several different food chains.

200

What's  condensation?

Condensation is the change in a substance from a ga to a liquid.

200

What is a species?

A species is a group of similar organisms that can mate and reproduce more of the same type of organisims

200

What is a habititat?

A habitat is the place where an organism lives. Or where the organism thrives.

300

 what omnivores eat?

Omnivores eat both animal meat and plants

300

Name one food chain?

ex:

algae, mosquito larva, sun fish, smallmouth bass

300

What's precipitation?

Precipitation is the water in the liquid or solid state that falls to earth

300

What is a community?

A community is a group of populations of different species in a given area.

300

How and why is air/ oxygen really important?

Air/ oxygen is pretty important for most organisms because almost everything needs oxygen. but fish sharks and all other creatures would survive without oxygen because they are built to breathe underwater.

400

what are consumers?

Consumers are any anything that consumes nurturance form other living organisms.

400

What does a food chain show?

A food chains shows one producer being eaten by one consumer and perhaps another consumers eating the first consumer.

400

What is a water cycle?

A water cycle is how water evaporates into clouds then the water comes back down when it rains etc. this is the water cycle with the world oceans and lakes.

400

What are micro organisims?

microorganisms are a living thing that is small and must be viewed with the help of a microscope.

400

Can organisms live in every environment found on earth?

It depends on the animal and the place. for example, a shark could live in an ocean, but a lion couldn't because there would be no oxygen. but thats just one example that i came up with.

500

What are scavengers?

scavengers are animals that feed on mostly dead animals.

500

How do food chains play a role in our ecosystem?

We need food chains in our earth because let's just say we took a ladybug out of the food chain. Everything would end up dying because there would be fewer of the things that eat them and then some stuff would overpopulate, and it would just mess with the whole entire food chain.

500

Describe some ways that the supply of fresh water is at risk.

Climate change, pollution, increases in humans and animal species, putting waste into our oceans etc.

500

What is a biotic element?

A biotic element is any living thing found in the enviroment.

500

Does every organism on earth need food?

no, not every organism on earth needs food, they would need some kind of nurturance but not all of it would be considered as food.
