Elder Anderson spoke on the importance of eternal marriage and said that marriage is not a short-term experiment, but an everlasting opportunity. President Eyring spoke about finding peace through sincere and fervent prayer in a world filled with commotion and difficulty. He concluded his talk by sharing an experience when personal prayer and the influence of the Holy Ghost allowed him to experience peace and “almost” joy during his wife’s funeral. Elder Wunderli told a story about his son who placed a picture of Jesus in his backpack and then filled the backpack with rocks. When the backpack became heavy his son refused to take the picture of Jesus out of his backpack to make it lighter. Elder Wunderli taught that during life’s challenges we should not take Christ out of our life. He said Christ is not the ______ , he is our ______.

Elder Gilbert talked about Christ’s invitation to all of us to come home. He said in the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can lose our way but God will never stop trying to gather us home. He spoke of groups of people the Savior is calling to come home. The first group was “those who feel they don’t belong”. What is another group he is calling hom?
