Group leaders can be assigned, and neighborhood groups can meet at mailboxes or grass spaces.

Have a contact phone number of an out of state individual for everyone to contact and check in with.

Once your own family is secure what is the next step?
Ministering Families/Members - contact the individuals/families they minister to. Gather more detailed information to report:
Special needs (insulin, baby food, water, tents, etc.)
Number of individual 72-hour kits available
Names of people not accounted for within the family/group
Damage to church property, if family/member is near the ward building
Special equipment that is working and available
Tools, generators, fuel, etc.
How will your children know who to trust?
Provide the family with a password. If someone tells your child they are there to pick them up, the child must be told the password before they go with them.
What food storage should you focus on first?
The Brothern have recommended having a 3-month supply of food for your entire family. This will allow for job loss, economic crisis or ability to help others.
