Tell the story of how 25N & WPS started.
Mara had an interior design business called The Hauser Group, & their biggest client separated into 3 companies & halted all business.
Mara was accepted into the Goldman Sachs program. What came out of this program was a business pivot idea of coworking - to design space for 200+ different companies. She wanted to do it in the suburbs.
Mara worked on a business plan in her basement, transitioning The Hauser Group to WPS.
She did focus groups in the area, & gathered an advisory board of local thought leaders. As she was looking for her first hire to start 25N with, Paul from Blue Goose mentioned Meagan.
Meagan & Mara then met, & they were off to the races (or Mara’s basement) where it all started.
They wrapped up the business plan, & broke ground in October 2014.
