Wash your hands.
Where can I find a pencil? What if all my pencils break?
If I need a pencil during the day, I can exchange a dull pencil with a sharp pencil anytime Mrs. Moore is not teaching.

Curious means I want to know more about something. I ask questions and wonder.

What materials are kept in my desk? What should my desk look like?
Reading Notebook, Writing Notebook, Math Journal and my working folder.
The materials in my desk should be neatly stacked. I should never have random papers or other materials shoved in my desk.

Agile means I am ready for challenges and I will change as needed to be successful and to understand.
When can you get out of your seat in the classroom? When can you NOT get out of your seat?
You can get out if you need a pencil or other material during work times.
You may NOT get up when Mrs. Moore is teaching or your group member is speaking.

Can I keep a water bottle at my desk?
Yes! Place it on the floor next to me and don't drink while I have my Chromebook out.
When can I go to the bathroom?
During the movement block and when we go as a class.
I can ask during independent work times if it is an emergency.

Mistakes
What are the clean-up procedures during lunch?
Place box in trash when I'm done. Make sure desk is clean and area around me is clean, too.
When do you get to go book shopping? What are the procedures for book shopping?
I can go book shopping on my day first thing in the morning or during a literacy block when I am working independently.
I need to make sure I put books back where they go and only get the amount of books listed in the library.
Why do we have a Supportive Practice block and what are the expectations during that time?
The Supportive Practice block gives us an opportunity to practice our new learning with our teacher and classmates nearby to help when we need it.
I am expected to practice, try, and collaborate with my classmates to grow what I know!
When something is hard I will not give up. I can always learn more and get better!
