These are the squadron office hours...

0900-1500 Monday through Friday

Normal duty hours are 0900-1500 Monday through Friday, including a 1-hour lunch break between the hours of 1100-1400, and up to 1-hour for physical training twice per week (in addition to section 1.15). All squadron members are required to be present for duty and in the appropriate uniform during these hours unless TDY, flying, in pre- or post-mission crew rest, on leave/pass, or participating in a previously authorized formal event/appointment approved by squadron or flight leadership. (See Appendix B for telework guidance and weekly battle rhythm). The Squadron Commander encourages a minimum of 12 hours between completing official duties and returning to work. Supervisors should prioritize duties for subordinates and encourage a healthy work-life balance to include time for fitness, professional development, and leave.

This flight is responsible for ensuring completion of administrative processes and requirements in a timely manner. They are also responsible for administration of personnel issues, the processing of evaluation reports, rosters, and recall procedures. In addition to the commander’s secretary, at least one representative from each section should be present during duty hours.

Wear the 32 ARS Heritage Patch on Fridays, and the KC-10 Extender patch on the 10th of each month or at any KC-10 send-off ceremonies.

Boom operators are authorized to wear the boom operator patch on Fridays or during special events as determined by the Squadron Commander.

The local travel area is the geographic area within which the member has the ability to be recalled to duty and arrive at their work center, or place of residence to enter crew rest, no later than______ hours from notification. This flight is tasked with the day-to-day management of squadron operations, which includes scheduling for training and missions, tracking ground duty, TDY, leave, and appointments, and effectively employing GDSS2, Puckboard, and Mattermost. This flight also serves as the main point of contact for outside agencies.

Training Flight

This section is the lead for mission development. This includes generating external flying training opportunities and exercises, owning the mission planning process, and managing large formations and exercises.
