WHO - Paul and the Romans
WHAT - Paul told the Romans that the only way that new people will learn about Jesus is if we tell them, so we must tell them!
WHY - Because how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

We are to tell others about Jesus (Paul tells the Romans that they are sent to spread the good news.

Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus?
We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news.
Once we are believe in Jesus, our work is done! We don't need to share the good news with anyone!
Paul says that we are 'sent' to spread the good news as followers of Christ! We must be intentional in our relationships, relying on the Lord to lead us in opportunities to show and tell others about Jesus.
Who - Peter, Ananias and Sapphira
WHAT - Ananias and Sapphira sold land and gave some of the proceeds to the church, but kept some for themselves. Peter said “You have not lied to man but to God.” When they were found out, both Ananias and Sapphira died
WHY - Because they tried to keep a secret from God!

The Holy Spirit comforts us, shows us our sin, and guides us as we live for God's glory.
Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter, and Peter got so mad that he punished them himself!
Ananias and Sapphira lied to God, and God punished them because of their wicked hearts.
Who - Peter, John, and the religious leaders.
WHAT - The religious leaders jailed Peter and John because they were preaching about Jesus. Peter told the religious leaders that they (the religious leaders) had killed Jesus, but that He rose again. The religious leaders had to let them go. Peter and John did not stop preaching.
WHY - Because they were called to proclaim the goodness of God!

Peter and the Man Who Could not Walk!
John 17:3 "This is eternal life: that they may know..."

How do we know that God wants us to know Him?
We can know that God wants us to know Him because He has revealed Himself through His Word.
When the man who could not walk was healed, he started jumping and leaping and praising God. The people who saw him were filled with boredom, because they did not know him.

WHAT - On their way into the temple, Peter and John encountered a man who could not walk. The man asked for money, but Peter healed him in the name of Jesus. The man leapt for joy and ran into the temple, praising God!
WHY - Because The Holy Spirit allows Jesus’ followers to do great works!

WHY - Because Peter had the courage to preach the Gospel through the Holy Spirit.
