Allah commanded the storm to stop and the clouds cleared up in the sky
and the water dried up. All the believers came out of the Ark and thanked Allah
for saving them. The people then settled in this new land building new homes and
lived their lives according to the guidance of Allah.

the Prophet showed a great deal of love and compassion for his people. We carry those same
values within us when we help those around us, be it people, plants, or animals. Our intellect (or ‘aql’) helps us make
decisions between right and wrong. Because we have this aql, we are considered the khalifa or caretakers of all that
Allah has created.
What happened when Prophet Nuh made the Ark?
Allah told Prophet Nuh to load a pair of every kind of creature in the Ark.
Prophet Nuh’s followers began to load the animals in the Ark. Then a big storm
came and swept away everything. Whole villages disappeared under the flood and
the water was even above the mighty mountains. Only those people who had
listened to Prophet Nuh survived.
