What is elements of art?

an element of art with three properties

1) Hue: the name e.g. red, yellow, etc. 

2) Intensity: the purity and strength such as brightness or dullness.

3) value: the lightness or darkness. White is the lightest value; black is the darkest. The value halfway between these extremes is called middle gray.
