What is the first thing you do when you enter the room?
Unpack your bag at your desk, put bag in cubbies.
Where can I find a pencil? What if all my pencils break?
I should always have 3 pencils in my pencil box. If those are dull I need to put them in the dull bin on the back counter.
If I need a pencil during the day, I can exchange a dull pencil with a sharp pencil anytime Mrs. Truesdell is not teaching.
What time is lunch?

Curious means I want to know more about something. I ask questions and wonder.
How should you walk in the hallway?
Hands by my side, facing forward and mouths closed.
What materials are kept in my desk? What should my desk look like?
Desk basket on left side - contains tool boxes, pencil pouches, headphones, etc.
Folder/notebook/whiteboard stack on the right side.
I should never have random papers or other materials shoved in my desk.
When do we go to recess?

You can get out if you need a pencil or other material during work times.
You may NOT get up when Mrs. Truesdell is teaching or your group member is speaking.

Place it in your cubbie. You can get a drink when we are transitioning between things.

When we go as a class, before specials and after recess.

What are the clean-up procedures during lunch?
Gather up your trash, stay in your seat and throw trash out when the can comes by you.
When do you get to go book shopping? What are the procedures for book shopping?
I can go book shopping first thing in the morning or during a literacy block when I am working independently.
I need to make sure I put books back where they go and only get the amount of books listed in the library.
When something is hard I will not give up. I can always learn more and get better!
