Why are some flamingoes pink even though their parents are gray?
Some are pink because they live in an environment where they eat shrimp. When a flamingo eats fish it stays gray but when it eats shrimp the feathers change to pink. This shows that sometimes the ENVIRONMENT we live in can affect our traits.
Why do some organisms lay many eggs at a time?
Having many babies or laying many eggs makes sure the life cycle continues. Some animals like mice have many babies because they are at the bottom of a food chain.
