To tell how something has changed throughout history.

The most intense part of the story. (This happens toward the end)

To show the readers the reason something happens and the outcome.
What is resolution?
The end of the story. Also called the solution. Loose ends are tied up and things return to a new normal. lessons are learned and characters are changed

When do readers discover the stories conflict?
At the beginning of the story. Between the exposition and the rising action.
