Provides culturally responsive support to transfer, re-entry, veteran students, as well as students who do not have traditional family support due to experiences in the foster care system, with homelessness, abuse, parents who have been incarcerated, or other factors impacting their family life.

What is African American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC)?
Advancement in such a system is based on performance, as measured through examination or demonstrated achievement. The idea that if you simply "work hard enough" you can do anything without taking into consideration systemic oppression.

What is the (Porter) Squiggle?
Created to promote early intervention with students of concern to prevent culminating problems from escalating into a crisis. The goal is to identify students of concern and develop an action plan focusing on retention through provision of support and resources.
What is Slug Support?
Established with the aim of providing undocumented students with internship opportunities that would allow them to further develop leadership, personal and professional skills. Students intern at different on and off campus units for an entire academic year, completing a year-long project under the guidance of their mentor.
What is PCDP?
Provides and enhances opportunities for developing leadership, building a stronger sense of community on campus, and linking students to community service opportunities.

Program focused on developing and supporting undocumented entrepreneurs. This program is designed to educate and empower currently enrolled undocumented students and recent grads or alumni in developing and launching their business ventures.
What is the Entrepreneur Pilot Program?
The nexus of support and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community at the University of California, Santa Cruz. We create co-curricular experiences with students, staff, and faculty to challenge cisheteronormative understandings of gender and sexuality. We build a more inclusive campus community with and for all queer and trans people by providing essential resources and education through programming, workshops, and critical dialogues.
