How to Get Started at BMCC
How do you apply to BMCC?
Go to bluecc.edu, click the Menu icon in the upper right hand corner, and click on the "Get Started" tab, and then "Apply".
What is an Associate's degree?
2-Year 90 credit degree that can be completed at a community college.
Where can you find free food on campus?
Food Pantry located in The Den on the Pendleton Campus.
How much does 1 credit cost at BMCC?
$119 per credit for in-state tuition (OR, WA, CA, NV, and MT), not including fees.
Where can students hang out on Campus?
The Den offers a lounge area with TV's and XBox's, pool tables, a ping pong table, and popcorn! The Den also houses the food pantry and snacks.
What are placements and why are they needed to register?
Placement assessment, high school transcript, AP scores, and college transcripts. Placements provide a starting point and a guide for the needed math and writing requirements for the degree a student wishes to pursue.
How many credits would a student need to be considered at full-time enrollment?
12 credits or more
Where can a student go for tutoring?
The Library and TRIO.

Where can students buy food on campus?
Eden's Kitchen is located in the Student Union and offers a variety of soups, sandwiches, and baked goods.
Who do you meet with to be cleared to register?
A Navigator is able to guide students on the placements and other materials needed to register. They will also guide students on the best degree pathway and classes needed for the student's degree.
Can a student transfer to a 4-year college or university with an Associate's degree from BMCC?
Yes, with an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer, an Associate of Science/Computer Science, an Associate of Science Transfer/Business, and an Associate of Science.
Can academic accommodations carry on into college?
Yes, you can contact the Director of Student Resource Center for needed accommodations.
What states are covered for in-state tuition?
Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada, and Montana.
What clubs does BMCC offer?
