I have a duty as a scout and an American to care for the environment to the best of my ability. As more people use public lands, scouts need to set and example of how to care for the land.

I will learn about and practice good conservation of soil, waters, forests, minerals, grasslands, wildlife, and energy, and urge others to do the same. Keep conservation in mind at all times, and make decisions that are good for the environment. Share goals and decisions.
