Mixed number to an improper fraction= multiply the denominator by the whole number, and add the numerator.

Way one= use a place value chart and rewrite the numbers by moving the numbers
Way two= Decimal slide to the right or left
Way two is more efficient because you don't need a place value chart and you can do the slide with a pencil.

Executive (Top Cop- enforce the laws), Legislative (write bills to create laws), & Judicial (Make sure laws are fair/follow the Constitution)

Addition and subtraction= Line the decimals up, drop them in the problem and add and subtract as normal
