We are the lost son, abandoning God for the things we want instead, only to find out we had everything we need when we were with our Father. When we come back in repentance, He welcomes us with open arms.

The priceless worth of the Kingdom is far more valuable than any earthly treasure, its immense significance outweighs the desires of the world. We should be willing to give up everything in order to attain eternal treasures of the Kingdom.

Right Response: We are honest about it, we love God more (obeying God rather than following temptation), we don't practice it
Wrong Response: Hides our sin or thinks less of it (as if no big deal), seek pleasure rather than purity, practices it (does not actively take steps to replace sinful habits)
