What is the Two-Adult Policy?
To attend BSF in person, a child must be registered by his/her parent or legal guardian, even if that parent/guardian is NOT the member that will be attending BSF.

All BSF Children's Leaders must be familiar with the local requirements and procedures of child abuse policies and comply with reporting requirements.
What is Suspected Child Abuse?
All Children's Leaders, Children's Supervisors, Asst Children's Supervisors, and regular volunteers must submit to an initial background screening.
What is Background Screening for CP Leaders & Regular Volunteers?
When a child attends class or Seminars, the BSF Adult must be present.
What is the BSF Adult Attendance Requirement?
Class staff, leaders, and regular volunteers are not to have contact with children outside the classroom, including social media interactions.
What is No Outside Contact?
Screened leaders and regular volunteers must be recertified annually to continue serving in the CP.
What is the Annual Recertification?
All children, except high school, must be accompanied to and from the classroom by their BSF Adult.
What is the To-the-Door Policy?
Every Children's Program must have a Children's Supervisor (CS) and Assistant Children's Supervisor (ACS).
What is the CS & ACS Policy?
No children's class is established until two leaders are trained to lead it.
What is Two Trained Children's Leaders?
Johnny wants to bring his friend Luke to BSF. Yay! How many times can Luke visit before he needs to be a registered child?
What is 3 visits?
Jane is a CL and also serves in the children's area at her church. One of her best friends attends BSF, with her 3 children. Does the No Outside Contact policy apply to them?
No. These are understandable connections. The CL should still use some caution and discernment and can go to their CS or ACS with any concerns.
