Bundling
Protection for the insured against loss arising out of legal liability when his or her car injures others or damages their property.
Liability Coverage
Provides insurance for the home premises, permanently affixed fixtures and attached structures.
Coverage A - Dwelling Coverage
Covers actions of a non-resident relative residing in a nursing home
Assisted Living Care Liability
Provides coverage for specifically described items. Items are covered on an Agreed Value basis OR on a Stated Amount basis. Example would be a diamond ring.
Scheduled Personal Property
The first accident will be forgiven for policyholders that have been insured continuously by Farmers for 60 months or more.
Accident Forgiveness
Coverage which pays injury expenses incurred in an auto accident for the insured and passengers in the insured's car.
Medical Payments Coverage or Personal Injury Protection
Provides coverage for portable items, such as laptops, bicycles, furniture, or clothing owned or used by the insured while it is anywhere in the world
Coverage C - Personal Property Coverage
The amount shown on the Declarations page that the insured is responsible for if the loss is covered by the policy and is not covered by the underlying insurance policy or any other insurance.
Self Insured Retention
Covers direct loss including manufacturer defect, unless excluded to items used for golfing, exercise, or fitness without need for specific descriptions of such property.
Sports Equipment Extra
Coverage that is needed when an insured is employed to use their personal vehicle to deliver or transport food, groceries, newspapers, merchandise or goods.
Local Delivery Coverage
Provides coverage for insured's & passengers medical bills when injured or damage to property in an auto accident caused by someone who does not have any insurance.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage
Provides insurance for buildings located on premises and owned by insured but separated from Dwelling by a clear space.
Coverage B - Private Structures
Provides liability coverage resulting from your work done for your employer. Must be covered on underlying home policy.
Excess Business Pursuits
Covers direct loss including manufacturer defect, unless excluded, to pianos, guitars, drum sets, etc... including speakers, microphones, and amplifiers, without need for specific descriptions of such property.
Musical Instruments Extra
If there is a covered Physical Damage loss, the amount accumulated will apply to the insured's out of pocket expense of the loss. The policy is eligible to accumulate up to $500 of credit.
Diminishing Deductible
Coverage for our insured's vehicle for most non-moving vehicle damage or damage not related to contact with another moving vehicle, i.e. hail, theft, fire, flood, struck animal.
Comprehensive Coverage
Pays for reasonable increase in living expenses necessary to maintain insured's normal standard of living and loss of fair rental value when access to premises is denied by civil authorities due to loss covered by insured peril.
Coverage D - Loss of Use
On an Umbrella policy, this covers injuries or damages that an insured or family member incurs in an auto accident with a driver who does not have insurance or not enough insurance. (MUST be specific!)
Excess Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists
Covers direct loss, unless excluded, to designer items with an original new purchase price of $350 or more.
Luxury Extra
This endorsement is an optional coverage available for vehicles that are three years old or less, meaning the current and two preceding model years, regardless of the mileage on the vehicle. In the event of a total loss to that vehicle, it would be replaced.
