R- same as with SDGE, you can just “opt out” of the utility bills as a homeowner. But instead of taking over a super high SDGE bill, they’re taking over a low flat bill at a guaranteed rate with battery backup and free maintenance - so it’s actually a selling point! You get about 4% more for your home according to Zillow.
