What is a group of crows called?

What is a murder?

Loud, rambunctious, and very intelligent, crows are most often associated with a long history of fear and loathing.

A group of crows is called a “murder.” There are several different explanations for the origin of this term, mostly based on old folk tales and superstitions.

For instance, there is a folktale that crows will gather and decide the capital fate of another crow.

Many view the appearance of crows as an omen of death because ravens and crows are scavengers and are generally associated with dead bodies, battlefields, and cemeteries, and they’re thought to circle in large numbers above sites where animals or people are expected to soon die.

How many bones does a shark have?

None.

Their cartilaginous skeletons are much lighter than true bone and their large livers are full of low-density oils, both helping them to be buoyant.

Even though sharks don't have bones, they still can fossilize. As most sharks age, they deposit calcium salts in their skeletal cartilage to strengthen it. The dried jaws of a shark appear and feel heavy and solid; much like bone. These same minerals allow most shark skeletal systems to fossilize quite nicely. The teeth have enamel so they show up in the fossil record too.

Where are the majority of a butterfly's taste buds located?

On their feet!

Butterflies will land on plants to taste them primarily to see whether or not that plant is the right plant to lay their eggs on. So it’s very very important that they have that focus there.
