What happens if I don't turn in my homework on time? 

You will NOW lose 15% of the score you earned if your work is not submitted ON TIME. (Last quarter, it was 10%. It's important that you get in the habit of getting work done on time!)

How do you decide what is important to write down when taking notes on math? 

Examples: skills, procedures, example problems, something I struggled with, something new I learned, important vocabulary, things my FUTURE FORGETFUL SELF may need to know when this comes up again in a week...month...year

If your grade is low, what should you do to improve it? 

Submit missing assignments. 

Review, CORRECT and Resubmit work you didn't score well on. 

Retake ASSESSMENTS if you don't do well on them. 

Come in for help before school or at lunch!

When working on the WALLS and WINDOWS, what is one rule or procedure? 

Examples: put the markers back with the caps on, put the erasers back, one person writes other person's ideas, take care of the materials (leave them better than you found them)...

If you did not do well on your homework, what can you do? 

All homework should be corrected and resubmitted for a better grade. If you don't understand it, come in for help! Use IXL, your book, etc. to practice. Resubmit your work to show that you know it...or work with someone until you do!

If I don't understand something, where can I go for help? 

COME IN to see Mrs. Z before school or at lunch. 

Work on IXL as practice. 

Use iReady to catch up on things you may need more practice on. 

Revisit, correct and resubmit the work we do each week. Don't take a bad grade...it means you can DO BETTER!
