Cutting down forests also makes climate change worse because trees absorb carbon dioxide, so fewer trees means more heat stays in the air.

Because sharks eat the weak, old and diseased fish.

They keep middle sized preditors from over populating and eating all the smaller fish.

Because keep mid size predators in check and dont let others dominate, they leave breathing room  for hundreds of other smaller species to thrive.
