Simile
The part of a story that follows the climax or turning point; it contains the action or dialogue necessary to lead a story to its end.
Falling Action
A comparison of two things by saying one thing is something else.
Metaphor

An object, phrase, action, or idea that is used to represent something greater.
Symbolism

Rising Action
A specific event at the beginning of a story that kicks off the main plot by forcing your main character into it.
Inciting Incident
The feeling that the author is trying to create in the mind of the readers.
