What is Pollution?

What is energy?

What is a force?
The emission of volcanic products such as lava, ash, and gases from a volcano
What is eruption?
Molecules attached to our cells sense a stimulus and start a signal that can travel to the brain

Materials that allow a high rate of thermal energy transfer. (e.g. most metals)
What are thermal CONDUCTORS?
The measurement of how acidic or basic a substance is.
What is pH?
A device that converts moving or stored energy (Mechanical energy) into electrical energy.

Variable/condition that is purposely changed in the investigation.
What is the independent variable?
A substance with a pH of 7 is considered to be this.
What is neutral?
Energy in motion.
What is kinetic energy?
The location where tectonic plates collide and one sinks under the other, destroying rock.
What is a Subduction Zone?
The chemical building block that makes up genes.
What is DNA?
A state of balance between two objects with the same temperature (equal exchange of energy between the two objects)
