What is a simple sentence?

must be used when a dependent clause comes before an independent clause in a complex sentence
What is a comma?
Lacks a subject or verb, or is not a complete thought

a poem does NOT use I or you OR a poem that uses he, she, and they
What is a poem in third person?
Tells the characters what to do, where to move, and how to say their lines
What is stage direction?
can be used to connect two independent clauses forming a compound sentence
What is a comma and FANBOYS?
Two or more independent clauses that are not properly combined
What is a run on sentence?
dark, blue, sparkly, hot, dangerous
