Explain how religion can impact a person's life in the United States, even if they are not religious.

Religion can impact a person’s life even if they are not religious because it influences holidays, traditions, and rules in the community. For example, many schools have breaks for Christmas or Easter, and some foods or events might be connected to religious traditions. Religion can also affect laws or what people consider right and wrong. Even if someone doesn’t practice a religion, they still see its influence in daily life, like celebrations, music, or community events

How has the internet impacted your life in 2025.

The development of the internet has impacted my life in 2025 because it helps me learn, communicate, and have fun every day. I can do research for school quickly, watch videos to understand new things, and talk to my friends or family even if they live far away. The internet also lets me play games, listen to music, and watch shows whenever I want. Without it, I would have to spend more time in books or writing letters, and I wouldn’t be able to connect with people as easily.

How do politics impact your life as a 6th grader?

Politics impact my life as a 6th grader because they help decide the rules, laws, and programs that affect my school, my community, and my state. For example, politics can influence how much money schools get, what subjects we learn, and if we have playgrounds or after-school programs. They also affect things like safety rules, parks, and even the roads my family drives on. Even though I don’t vote yet, the decisions politicians make still affect my daily life.

500

How does the economy impact your life as a 6th grader?

The economy impacts my life as a 6th grader because it affects the prices of things my family buys, like food, clothes, and school supplies. It also affects the jobs my parents have and whether they can earn enough money. When the economy is doing well, my family might be able to go on trips or buy fun things. If the economy is not doing well, we might have to save more and spend less.
