What is Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources?
This is an official, comprehensive, and permanent record of a student’s academic performance, including all courses taken, grades earned, GPA, and credits.

What is Naviance?
On these days, students have fewer, but longer class periods per day, often meeting every other day, allowing for more in-depth learning.
What is a block schedule?
This is the grade in which most pathways start and you can begin attending CCIC.
What is 10th grade or sophomore year?
This cluster encompasses careers that require knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
What is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics?
This number is an average that shows how well you’re doing in school based on your grades.
What is GPA (Grade Point Average)?
These are the grades that MyCAP goes through.
What is 6th grade to 12th grade?
This is the minimum number of credits you required to graduate from the Cherry Creek School District.
What is 22 credits?
This is a new satellite CCIC building that is opening next to Overland.
What is Pathways at Overland?
This cluster encompasses careers in managing, marketing, and operating restaurants, food services, lodging, attractions, recreation, events, and travel-related services.
What is Hospitality and Tourism?
This is required of student who fail required courses in high school.
What is Credit Recovery?
Teachers, parents, counselors, school admin, trusted adults, siblings and friends are good resources and people to ask for support with making your future plans.
Who can support you with your MyCAP?
This type of class is not required but highly recommended if a student intends to go to a college or university after high school.
What is Foreign Language / World Language?
This type of credential can be earned in any pathway at the CCIC.
What is a certification?
This cluster includes careers in designing, producing, performing, writing and publishing multimedia content.
What is Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications?
To stay eligible for high school sports students must be passing at least five classes and have no more than one failing grade when weekly eligibility checks occur.
What is Athletic Eligibility?
This section of Naviance stores all assessments, summaries, and added entries students create over the years.
What is the portfolio?
Dropping a class early may result in these two transcript codes that do not impact your GPA.
What are WP (Withdraw Pass) and WF (Withdraw Fail)?
This is the person you need to talk to in order to attend CCIC.
What is your high school counselor?
This cluster focuses on careers involved in running businesses or organizations, including supervising, monitoring, organizing, coordinating, and planning.
What is Business, Management, and Administration?
This graduation requirement states that, beyond completing all required courses, students must show they are ready for life after high school by demonstrating career or college readiness in both Reading/Writing/Communicating and Mathematics through at least one approved menu option.
