Some (or many) people think that State College is too boring to live. I personally like to live in State College, and there are three main reasons. What are they?

When I was traveling in New York City in 2013, I was waiting in line to enter a museum. While waiting, a group of people approached me, and I was able to enter for free. How could that happen?
There were three people in line who had a free entrance coupon applicable up to four people. They included me in their group and I entered the museum for free. Such kind people!
