What is Orthopedic Impairment?
This disability contains 5 characteristics that are prevalent for a long time and to a marked degree that adversely affects a student's educational performance.
They are: an inability to learn that cannot be explained by intellectual, sensory, or health factors, an inability to build or maintain relationships with peers or teachers, inappropriate types of behavior or feelings under normal circumstances, feelings of unhappiness or depression, or a tendency to develop physical symptoms or fears associated with personal or school problems.
What is an emotional disability?
a disability with limited strength, vitality, or alertness, including heightened alertness to environmental stimuli, that results in limited alertness to the educational environment and is due to chronic or acute health problems, and adversely affects the student's educational performance

Students whose vision cannot be correct by ordinary glasses, contact lenses, medication, or surgery

a disorder in one or more processes involved in understanding or using language, spoken or written, that may manifest itself in an inability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell, or do math

A student who has significantly sub average general intelligence functioning, existing concurrently with deficits in adaptive behavior that are manifested during the developmental period that impacts a student's educational performance
