The Tell-Tale Heart," the lantern symbolizes the narrator's limited perspective.

100

On page 62 it says it was the low stifled sound that arises from the soul when over charged with awe what does The narrator mean by this

This is the fear of the old man knowing something is watching him

100

It was a the beating of the old mans heart. It increases my fury as the beating of a drum stimulates the soldier into courage. What figutive language it this

This is a silmile

100

Is the narrator a boy or a girl

this is a open ended question I personally think it is a guy

200

Why was the Heart beat there in the story even if it was just the narrator hearing things

this is the narrator guilt for killing the old man and the heart, which symbolizes the narrator's  conscience.

200

In the text it says I placed my hand upon the heart and held it there for serval minutes no there was no pulsation was he actually holding the heart

He was most like feeling a heart beat because studies say that when feared you senses are more and you might feel thing that. Did not happen

200

When he says stone dead on page 63 what do you think he means and what is this figurative language

this is a personification because he is comparing a inanimate object to a dead thing

200

What type of a story is this

a short gothic horror

300

The narrator  uses a spider as a example for his light why

the spider is known to be patient

300

What do you think he is think when it the text on pg 64 but the noise steadily increased why would then not be gone. I pace the floor to and for with heavy strides.

he is having a sense of regret And a sense of guilt

300

In the text on pg 62 he says a watches hand move More quickly then did mine what is this type of figurative language.

This is a Hyperbole because it is a exaggerated statement.

300

how does the setting change the story

There are 2 main settings: the house the narrator shares with the old man where the murder takes place and the place from which the narrator tells his story, maybe a prison or an asylum for the criminally insane. The majority of the story takes place in the sitting room of a house at night.

400

Why did the narrator use the vultures eye as a example a lot

The eye is extremely symbolic because it explains an omen of evil that reflects upon the narrator. Vultures are birds that are usually associated with death and darkness. In this case, the narrator fears that someone will see into his deepest darkest fear.

400

What does he mean when he says “as a watch makes when enveloped in cotton. Which is talking about his heart beat

represents the narrator's guilty conscience after he has murdered the old man.

400

on page 62 the man describes the room black as pitch with thick darkness. What do you think he means thick darkness and what type of figurative language it this

when the narrator say thick darkness he prolly means it was a very dark room where you could not see anything and this is a simile

400

What perspective is this story told from

First person

500

On page 61 it says the pale blue eye with film over it whenever it fell upon me my blood ran cold why do you think he was so attracted to this eye

One of a symbol of a Blue eye is to exude a sense of tranquility and often possess a mysterious allure that draws others in. Which could mean that narrator is attracted to this in some way

500

What does he mean a when he says “I heard many things in hell” on page 61

The author Poe often time used heaven hell and others biblical symbols so many people believed this was illusions. This is a question that as log as it relates to this you will get it right

500

On he page 63 it says like a thread of a spider shot out of the crevice and fell upon the vultures eye. was he being exaggerated? and what type of figurative language is this there is two answers .  And why did he use a spider as a example

this was a hard one he was being a bit extracted but in the text it states” you cannot imagine how steadily, steadily’’ but if you said hyperbole and simile you are right The hardest one is why he used a spider as a example it is because a spider is a symbol for patience and persistence.

500

On page 65 the narrator hollers saying ”villains” who does he refer to

I think that his conscience told him and broke out but this is more of a open ended question as long as it times back to him you get the points
